eBay with Grace - Gone Without a Trace

Updated: Dec 2, 2019

Starting on eBay? Explore this 5-part series for our beginners! (Part 4)

Sold an item? What to do next? It’s best practice to ship it within the time frame (handling time) that you specified in order for customers to get their package as soon as possible. Customers can rate a seller on how quickly they receive their item – up to 5 stars. As a beginner, I recommend listing items that won’t be too much of a hassle to ship (i.e. clothing, shoes, accessories like the belt above, etc). If you sold a lamp for example, it could be difficult to find a container that would fit the whole item. It would also be challenging to secure it in a way where it wouldn’t break in transit.

Steps to Take

  1. Hover your mouse over 'My eBay' at the top right

  2. Click on 'Selling'

  3. Click on 'Orders'

  4. Click on 'Print Shipping Label' to the left of your sold listing

  5. Select 'Package Type'

  6. Select 'Service'

  7. Click on 'Purchase and Print Label'
